Russian troops invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022. The subsequent mass displacement of civilians from Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis inside has devastated the world.
As it stands, more than 11.6 million people are estimated to have been displaced from their homes – including 4.8 million children. More than 4.6 million people have fled the country and an estimated 7.1 million people internally displaced inside Ukraine where there is now active conflict and a humanitarian catastrophe unfolding.
